Training

We offer tandem skydiving for first-time jumpers and 2 programs, Instructor Assisted Deployment (IAD) and Accelerated Free Fall (AFF), for those who want to learn to jump solo.

Accelerated Freefall (AFF)

To train students in its AFF skydiving certification program, Skydive Orange uses the USPA’s safety-oriented Integrated Student Program (ISP) which was developed right here at Orange. The ISP teaches students the essential skills to skydive competently through a series of jumps in 8 categories (A-H) working toward the 25 jumps required to earn the initial “A” skydiving license.

Instructor Assisted Deployment (IAD)

The benefit of the IAD method is that each sequential jump builds slowly on the skills learned in the previous jumps with the first set of jumps skipping freefall and starting right off with canopy deployment. This allows the student to concentrate on each individual aspect of their dive without being overwhelmed. Skydive Tecumseh is also one of the only drop zones in the area that offers IAD training! It’s part of our commitment to provide the full range of available training methods to suit individual needs.

Our normal hours of operation are 9:00 AM to sunset. We do our best to accommodate your schedule and availability during the week.
